XRD 3003 Stress Analyzer Middleweight

The SEIFERT XRD 3003 Stress Analyzer was designed for measuring stress on industrial parts such as tubes, rings etc. with weights up to 3 kg and diameters up to 300 mm. The residual stress in a certain region needs to be known to ensure the quality of the parts and to enable further work to be carried out on them. The XRD 3003 Middleweight meets these demands with a separate chi arm carrying the Phi, X, Y, Z sample manipulator unit, as well as a standard beam source and the ultra-fast Meteor1D XRD detector. All three components source, sample manipulator and Meteor1D are precisely adjusted with respect to the measuring point for reliable stress determination. The system is currently routinely used in industrial applications. Beside stress measurement the system allows phase and texture analyses both in point and line focus configuration.
