SEIFERT XRD 3003 Stress Analyzer

The SEIFERT XRD 3003 Stress Analyzer Heavyweight was designed for measuring stress on complex and heavy parts such as crankshafts and camshafts, etc., where the residual stress in a certain region has to be identified non destructively. The XRD 3003 Heavyweight meets these demands with a strong Phi, X, Y, Z sample manipulator mounted on a robust and rigid Chi arm, as well as a standard beam source with high intensity focusing lenses and the ultra-fast Meteor1D XRD detector. All three components - source, sample manipulator and Meteor1D - are precisely adjusted with respect to the measuring point so that the residual stress can be determined with the highest precision. The system is currently routinely used in three shift operations at several factories worldwide. Multiple samples can be measured in one run after first indicating the measuring points on the XRD 3003 Sample Preparation Station with overview camera, a high-resolution camera for the indication of measuring points on samples and their documentation. This enables the highest efficiency and throughput and ease-of-use.
