Customized XRD 3003 - Stress

Stress Measurement Instrument

Residual stress is generated by nearly all technical relevant production and treatment processes. It defines the mechanical properties of component parts in the near surface region. Application-driven material design needs defined residual stress introduction for performance improvement and potential increase (e.g. lifetime, hardness, resistance, fatigue).

XRD 3003 - Stress systems permit investigation of large and heavy parts e.g. from automotive, aerospace, power and machinery industry (like crankshafts, clutch components, brake pads, gear wheels, bearings or turbine blisks) in Chi-and Omega- mode.
