Galaxy XRD

Online Laue System

The SEIFERT Galaxy XRD is the standard online Laue system. Galaxy XRD uses a fixed setup of a polychromatic X-ray source together with a 200 x 200 mm2 real-time flat panel detector. Single crystalline specimen (e.g. turbine blades) are mounted in a stationary or manually adjustable support. The selected measuring point can be viewed and documented by an optical camera. The powerful RayfleX software package provides automatic data collection, indexing and evaluation of single crystal orientation referred to the geometric axis of the specimen as well as perfection and crystalline quality.
