RSS-131 ER Environmental Radiation Monitor

Environment Radiation Monitor

Superior Performance in Demanding Environments

Designed to measure airborne low-level gamma radiation in the most demanding environments, the Reuter Stokes RSS-131 ER environmental radiation monitor is the latest high pressure ionization chamber (HPIC) from GE. Both reliable and accurate, the system is designed to minimize support electronics and allows the user to specify monitoring parameters.

Features

A Complete System

The Reuter Stokes environmental radiation monitor is packaged as a fully-functional, comprehensive system, including the 12V battery, battery charger, 300V power supply, dial-up modem and internal temperature sensor. Additional analog inputs also are available for the transmission of other sensor signals, along with a dedicated tipping bucket rain gauge input for monitoring precipitation.

  • Stand-alone, omnidirectional gamma radiation monitor
  • Can quickly discriminate low radiation levels with an extended range of 0-10R/hr
  • Extremely reliable with a lifetime of 20 years or more for most units
  • Operates in extreme environmental conditions
  • Variety of communication options, configurable with other meteorological sensors
  • Stores more than 20,000 data points
  • More robust design, replacing earlier models including RSS-1012 and RSS-1013
  • Simplified repair and maintenance
  • Commercially available electronics replace obsolete components
