New Advanced Hand Terminal For GE’s Druck 505 Air Data Test Set

Billerica, Mass –May 25, 2007.

press_4The new advanced hand terminal for GE Sensing’s Druck Air Data Test Set is specially designed to meet the safety on the flightline regulations and enables a single operator to implement sophisticated test routines whilst seated in the aircraft cockpit. Aircraft testing time and the possibility of communication errors will be significantly reduced.

The hand terminal is rugged with internal components housed in an aluminium alloy casting, encapsulated by a shock absorbing rubber boot. It will be supplied with an interconnecting lead of 18m (50 feet) long which connects it to the Air Data Test Set situated outside the aircraft.

The operator has a multi-purpose touch screen display for inputting & monitoring the aircraft test parameters. This is fully programmable so the operator can programme ALL of the tests on ALL of the aircraft types within his fleet. This reduces testing times, reduces the training requirements and reduces the risks of those mistakes which are caused when aircraft technicians have to work under pressure.

The touch screen display allows manual control and also allows the operator to follow the test scripts entered into the tester. These test scripts replicate the testing requirements specified in the aircraft maintenance manual.

The ADTS505 is high accuracy aircraft testing solution that is 100% RVSM compliant and provides a turnkey testing solution to the requirements.
