Nuclear Containment Building: IWE/IWL - Corrosion Inspection
- The code of Federal Regulations (10CFR 50.55a) requires inspection of the entire surface area of the containment building.
- Containment liner and external extended surface must be inspected in accordance with American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Section XI, Subjections IWE/IWL.
- Remote visual inspection (RVI) non-destructive testing (NDT) solutions featuring auto pan-tilt zoom functions based on plant geometry & input grid can be used for inspection and are recordable and indexed, with high quality documentation and 100% repeatability.
