PanaFlow Z3

The PanaFlow Z3 is the latest of a new generation of Panametrics ultrasonic flow meters. It is a three-path wetted meter designed specifically for low-risk, accurate and repeatable measurement of nominal temperature liquids. With a sleek industrial design and ultra-reliable electronics, it provides a top-of-the-line choice for process and industrial applications.

High-end design

The Z3’s integrated flow cell encloses the transducers, buffers, junction boxes and cables, making it not just an aesthetic design, but a rugged, compact and easy-to-handle meter. Transducers are removable in the field, allowing for replacement without shutting down the process. New design Vitality software is completely intuitive and easy to use.

Advanced performance

Three-path technology gives better accuracy and allows for more visibility of the flow profile. It also offers an extra path for peace-of-mind redundancy. New XMT910 electronics, designed for ultra reliability, communicate seamlessly in HART® or Modbus protocol.

Fluid Types
  • Acoustically conductive fluids, including most clean liquids, and many liquids with small amounts of entrained solids or gas bubbles
Flow Measurement
  • Patented Correlation Transit-TimeTM model
  • ±0.5% of reading for velocities above 1.6 ft/s (0.5 m/s)
  • ±2.5 mm/s of reading for velocities below 1.6 ft/s (0.5 m/s)

Accuracy statement assumes measurement of a single-phase homogenous liquid with a fully developed symmetrical flow profile passing through the meter. Applications with piping arrangements that create an asymmetrical flow profile may require extended piping straight runs and/or flow conditioning for the meter to perform to this specification.
