Pressure Transducers Overview
GE supplies special-purpose pressure transducer solutions for use in applications such as combustor instability ("humming") detection on gas turbines, cylinder performance characteristics (P-V curves, rod compression/tension, suction/discharge pressure, etc.) on reciprocating compressors, and early warning of seal failures on process pumps by monitoring pressure across the seal face. Each of these applications requires a transducer specifically designed for the application to address the pressures, temperatures, and cyclic stresses encountered in these harsh environments while delivering reliable machinery information.
Pressure Transducers

165855 Cylinder Pressure Transducer Intended specifically for use with the Bently Nevada 3500/77M Recip Cylinder Pressure Monitor when real-time, continuous monitoring of cylinder performance is required on reciprocating compressors.

200132 Pressure Transducer The 200132 pressure transducer is intended for general purpose, static pressure measurements made with our Trendmaster® Pro data acquisition hardware.

200136 Seal-Leak Detection (SLD) Transducer The 200136 SLD transducer incorporates highly reliable proximity probe technology observing a moving diaphragm to detect static pressure changes on the non-pressurized end of single or double seals or between tandem or dual seals.

Gas Turbine Combustion Instability Transducers Specifically designed to monitor combustor pressure pulsations indicative of combustion instabilities ("humming") in gas turbines.
