3300/05 Rack

The rack houses all 3300 modules and is available in variety of sizes ranging from 4 to 14 slots. It can mounted in a panel cutout or, with the 8-position version, installed on 19-inch EIA mounting rails. Racks with AA options 01 through 07 and 11 through 17 were supplied prior to 1992 and are no longer available. Consult the factory or your local sales professional for compatibility details regarding racks with original-style versus enhanced-style backplanes.

New and old-style rack compatibility

Beginning in 1992, the 3300 rack backplane was redesigned to support enhanced monitor functionality and computer interface capabilities. Original-style rack backplanes support the 3300/01 System Monitor and 3300/10 or 3300/11 Power Supply modules. Enhanced-style rack backplanes have been shipped since 1992 and support the 3300/03 System Monitor, the new 3300/02 TDe System Monitor, and 3300/12 or 3300/14 Power Supply modules. Interchangeability between the above modules depends on the style of rack and other options. Consult the factory or your local sales professional for compatibility details.

3300 Relays

Relays are supplied on the I/O module associated with each monitor type, and are ordered via the individual monitor datasheets, such as 3300/16 or 3300/20. The relay datasheet here describes the various options and features common to all 3300 system relays.

3300/10 ac Power Supply

Supplied for spare parts only. This power supply is for use only in racks manufactured prior to 1992 with an original-style backplane. Consult the factory or your local sales professional for compatibility details.

3300/12 ac Power Supply

This module accepts ac power from most worldwide voltage sources and provides regulation and conditioning needed to energize all other modules in the 3300 rack.

3300/14 dc Power Supply

This module accepts dc power from most worldwide voltage sources and provides regulation and conditioning needed to energize all other modules in the 3300 rack.
